CHEN LIKELY TO LOSE UNJUST FREEDOM

The Special Investigation Unit's second 抗告 was successful, as 高院 early this morning ruled against the 無保釋放 of former-President Chen. Ruling is now back to district court. There is now most likely going to be a detention court that might will detain Chen once again.

Now, the possibility of escape or tampering with evidence exists for Chen, unlike what the 北院 judge 周占春 said. However, during his time out from his detention cell, did he attempt to escape or tamper with evidence or all those things that were ruled as reasons to detain Chen? Not really. Still though, detention is needed to keep him under control; or of course, the only other option is for 釋放 with a very heavy bail.

Go SIU!
