I just recently discovered this document of mainland Chinese intellectuals urging the China for more democracy, in conjunction with the December 10 Human Rights.

This is sort of reminiscent of Czechoslovakia's Charter 77. I hope China will change for the better.

The former Czech president Havel, who had signed for the Charter 77, says that the China government should release 劉曉波.

I do not see any purpose of we signing up for that "thingy".
