After president-elect Obama chose New York Federal Reserve Bank chief Tim Geithner as a Secretary of Treasury candidate yesterday, the US stock market rebounded like in Taiwan.
Dow Jones Industrial went up 494.13 points (6.54%) back past the 8,000 mark. Nasdaq 68.23 (5.18%).
(Just as an interesting fact, Tim Geithner went to high school in International School Bangkok, and has his college degrees in international studies.)
