On Taiwan Voucher Plan

DPP Legislators are planning to supersede the voucher plan. DPP Legislator Tsai Huang-lun said, “The voucher plan is just another stupid idea the government has thought.” He said the government should cut down the tax instead of issuing those vouchers. But actually there is a defect in Mr. Tsai’s plan. When the government gives us back the extra taxes we pay, that money will go directly into our bank account. Then most of the people will just leave the money inside the bank and not using them, which will not help changing the economy condition because no one is consuming. But if the government gives out vouchers, people have to use them since there is an expiration date.
