陳水扁 asserted at the 羈押 court that he was beaten by the police investigators during interrogation. The court process was forced to stop and Chen was brought to a hospital. The doctors' report showed he had muscle strains. MUSCLE STRAINS. When you get hit, you do not get muscle strains, you have bruises and broken bones. I think he got the strains when he lifted his handcuffed arms up and shouted his demagogue-pity-nonsense.
The judges have finally voted to 羈押 Chen at seven this morning.
I really have to admit, we can all try to be like Chen in his persevering spirit; even though he perseveres for the wrong causes.
