ARATS TO ARRIVE ON MONDAY

On Monday the chairman of the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits, 陳雲林, will arrive in Taipei from the mainland. With the many threats and calls to rally by the anti-China zealots of green to assault the man, pray for his safety. However, he would probably be completely safe from eggs and balloons and jeers ("十八招"), as the police learned a lesson from the assault on the vice-chairman. He is also protected by his very geographic location. I am quite sure the police in Taipei are not as corrupted mentally as the ones in the mid-south are.

ARATS will start talks with the Taiwanese Straits Exchange Foundation this week. China and Taiwan are shaking hands, and the Rapture seems one step further away.
